Rachel’s Testimony
I went to a Christian Church as a child, so I’ve been a Christian for as long as I can remember. However, in middle school, I started allowing sexual feelings and behaviors to control me. This followed me until I was 30 years old (most of my life). I thought I understood God’s voice and direction for my life but I was wrong. I was unequally yolked and eventually Divorced. My anger led me to Jail. I was kicked out of my home, lived in my car, lost custody of my child, lost all my jobs, lived under the labels Domestic Violence (reactive abuse) and Child Abuse (misunderstanding) for a year and half. I fell for someone who had one of the worst records imaginable and I had no idea when I would see my child again. But God met me in my hopelessness! He showed me unconditional love, forgiveness, grace, truth and peace. He’s helped me with everything since -all my trauma and heartache, letting go of the past, forgiving those who’ve hurt me, balancing my mental health, helping me work full-time again, and ultimately, finding hope again. He’s rebuilding my spiritual foundation and teaching me how to share His Words with others (you!). God gave me the idea for this website a year ago and I’m so happy to say it’s finally here! I attend and serve at two churches. I Graduate from my 1st Celebrate Recovery Step Study this December! God took my destruction and created “Good plans” instead (Jeremiah 29:11). God took my hopelessness and is turning me into a Kingdom Builder, and I know He can and wants to do the same for you (John 3:16, John 7:38-39, Ephesians 1:13, John 3:18, John 12:46, Acts 10:43, Mark 16:17, Romans 10:9, etc.). I’m a non-denominational Christian looking for God’s Truth in His Bible. I hit my rock bottom at the end of 2022 and have been rebuilding myself and my values since. I’ve learned so much since then and stumbled upon life coaching using what I learned. Eventually, God gave me the idea for a website where I could share everything in one spot.
This site was made to help all people. Please share it! I will keep updating it as I learn.
